Hey Guys!
Whilst I know I should probably get round to writing some reviews , I decided today I would post about the Book Series I’m Yet To Read. I’ve been drowning myself in University work today so fancied doing a post that’s somewhat fun.
Firstly I want to take a moment to say Thank You to all you guys, on Wednesday I lost my cousin to cancer and my blog has been an escape for me. I’ve been reading your comments, distracting myself and watching booktube and it’s been wonderful to lose myself for a little while. I am so grateful to be surrounded by such supportive people who share my passion and read whatever I post.
Now here are some Book Series I am still yet to read:
- Fallen by Lauren Kate
I have actually seen a bunch of mixed reviews for this, both good and bad. I know they have recently released a movie and I would love to give a go for myself to see what it is like. - The Wrath & The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh
- Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
- Thrones of Glass – Sarah. J Maas
- The Diviners by Libby Bray
- Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
I have to say I feel like the only person in the world who hasn’t read some of these series yet, I mean Six of Crows is loved by so many people! I definitely hope to get round to them soon, seeing as were already on 18th November I think it will probably be next year by the time I start them. Which one do you think I should start with?
One series I am also yet to finish:
Maggie Stiefvater – The Raven Boys
Have you read any of these series yourself?
What are some series you are yet to read let me know in the comments!
The Diviners is one of my favorites! The second book wasn’t quite as good, but it’s still a great book. The only other two books on your list I’ve read are The Wrath and the Dawn and Throne of Glass – and I’m in the minority in that I didn’t really like either of them. I hope you enjoy them, though – they seem like interesting series (I’ve only read the first book of each). Daughter of Smoke and Bone and The Raven Boys are on my TBR, too. I keep hearing amazing things about both!

Thanks for reading Stephanie!
I’m realizing now i’m not the only person in the world that hasn’t read all these series yet!
I’ve heard mixed reviews about Throne of Glass so I have to admit I am on the fence about when to pick it up, I really enjoyed ACOTAR so I don’t want it to ruin my love for Sarah. J Maas…
I may put some of these books on my christmas list and then i’ll be determined to pick them up having the books in my hand 🙂

I think ACOTAR is much better than TOG. But it’s almost worth reading to decide, because SO MANY people love it.
If you put The Diviners on your list, get the hardcover of the design you put on your blog (they’ve changed it since) if you can. It’s so beautiful, and I’m really sad they changed the covers.

I’ve tried reading Six of Crows three times (I borrowed it from my library) and eventually ended up returning it completely unread. I’m sure its a great book and series but I couldn’t get hooked and since I have a pretty jam packed TBR regardless, it’s difficult to justify reading something I’m just not interested in. I’ve read the first book in the Throne of Glass series but then accidentally started reading book 3 rather than book 2… I may end up just reading the book 2 summary because book 3 I was quite enjoying.

I’ve been told that if you try Six of Crows you need to persevere through the first half and the second half picks up. Hopefully if you try it again you manage to get through the beginning and the second half is better! I want to pick it up before christmas if I can, i’m hearing amazing things now.
I understand completely what you’re saying though, whenever I struggle with a book I look at my TBR like ah I haven’t got time for this.
So many books so little time right?!

I’m so sorry to hear about your cousin. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. ❤️
I haven’t read The Diviners yet and I really want to!! I was supposed to in October, but ended up not being able to. So hopefully I’ll be able to pick it up soon. I finally got around to Six of Crows just a few weeks ago and am starting Crooked Kingdom today. You should try SoC! You just may have to persevere thru the first half but after that it’s amazing!!

I actually haven’t read any of these series yet. Fantasy is not really my thing, but I really want to try more of it out and see what I think. Let me know what you think about these books☺️

I'm glad i'm not the only one who is yet to pick up these series yet! If you do venture into Fantasy to try again I would recommend ACOTAR by Sarah. J Maas it's one of my favourite reads this year and you may enjoy it! 🙂

The only of the series I’ve read that you’ve mentioned is The Raven Cycle which I adore to pieces. I do want to get to all of them eventually though! I read Daughter of Smoke and Bone and really enjoyed it!!

I’m so sorry to hear about your cousin, sending love to you and your family ❤
I love being part of the book blogging community because I feel like I always have a list like this on hand. I alternate between reading classic novels and sc-fi/fantasy/YA and there are always so many recommendations 🙂
I've read Throne of Glass and really enjoyed it, definitely interested to read a few of the others you mention but I keep getting confused between Six of Crows & The Raven Boys! They keep popping up on here and seem really popular but the covers are quite similar so for ages I thought they were part of the same series! Oops 😛

Thank you so much ❤
We have similar tastes, I try to read a classic every now and again when they aren't on my university reading list as well. I'm studying Shakespeare at the moment so there my classics for now.
Haha I can understand why you thought they were the same series, it's the crows wings isn't it!
