Synopsis:

I’m Payton Blake. A successful, balanced twenty-something girl living the dream.

OK. So it’s a big-ass lie.

I could be all of those things. If I had friends outside of work. And if I didn’t mainline watermelon slushies like they were a food group. It wouldn’t hurt if I’d had sex in the last year, either. (My best friend insists Jorge the Nightstand Boyfriend doesn’t count.)

But when you know where you’re headed, who needs to enjoy the ride? Even if part of me longed for a little between-the-sheets adventure, Max Donovan would be the last guy I’d call.

Sure, he made the indie video game that broke the internet. His eyebrow piercing’s sexy, in an ‘are-you-in-a-band?’ way, and fighting with him gets me off faster than Jorge on bezerker mode. But he’s arrogant. Presumptuous. Colder than a cactus and twice as prickly.

None of it changes the fact that I crave Max Donovan like a watermelon slushy on a hot summer day.

I should ignore him. But I can’t, because he just became my biggest client. And whether he’ll admit it or not, he needs me even more than I need him.

Game on, Max Donovan.

What’s your Patronus?

Pottermore have recently uploaded a new element to their website which is linked to the Patronus Charm. The Patronus Quiz asks you a series of multiple questions which then creates your Patronus for you.

Firstly I want to mention how this is an amazing addition to the website, the design is beautiful and eye-catching and it also incorporates a musical melody into the background which really adds to the whole magical feel. The whole experience felt very interactive and I think it is something any age will enjoy doing because it immerses you in so many memories.

My Patronus is… [drum roll please]…..

Once you have had your result you will be lead onto another page which is written by J.K Rowling telling you all about Patronus Charms as well as including some history of certain characters Patronus charms.

At first when I first saw mine was a cat I had the fear inducing thoughts of ‘oh no Umbridge had a cat’ but then I remembered so did the beautiful and wonderful Minerva McGonagall therefore I was happy once again. I have always wondered what my Patronus would be and I am so glad Pottermore have developed a quiz which allows you to see. Once again they are bringing the wonderful wizarding world back to life for me.

Be sure to check out the Pottermore website and find out what your Patronus is and then let me know in the comments, I’m so interested to see what everyone got!

Here are the 10 things Hermione Granger taught me:
