Happy New Year fellow Book lovers!
I’ve been thinking lately how I don’t really set New Year’s Resolutions but this year something has been nagging at me to set them for my reading and blogging goals. The end of 2016 and start of 2017 were hard times and 2017 was a year of so many exciting things for me such as graduating from university. I hold a BA in English Literature now. I got accepted onto two masters programme’s and chose to do an MA in English Studies. My blog reached 500 followers, I started receiving Physical Arcs, I got invited to go down to London to an exhibition as part of a blogger/press thing. (I couldn’t go but the opportunity was still amazing)
But the year was also really hard, my anxiety gave me so many hurdles I had to try jump over. My dad, brother and sister all had health scares. We are losing another love one who is fighting a battle with cancer. 2018 will be another hard year but I’m pledging here and now that i’m also going to make sure it’s an amazing one.
So here are my 2018 Reading and Blogging specific goals:

This is my post to my fellow Scaredy-cats. As the countdown has officially started until Halloween and there is only 15 days until the trick and treating begins I wanted to do a post for those of you who are like me and may like Halloween but are easily scared, those who aren’t particularly a fan of horror or anything too scary. So here are some books which feature characters associated with Halloween.

Bookstagram, Book Tube, Book Blogs – you name it I’m constantly stalking it and I always wonder about everyone’s book collections. A lot of people especially big booktubers seem to have what I would call the ‘Perfect Book Collection.’ By this I mean that it all seems to match, they have all hardback books which seem to be all perfect in size and fit perfectly together. I do like to imagine that it is only certain shelves, the ones on camera and then if you could see the other side you would have the shelves of the mismatched.

Hey Book Worms.
I haven’t posted in exactly 8 days, what have I been doing? You may ask.
Well I was getting ready, gearing myself up for the big event which happened earlier today. MY GRADUATION.
I officially now have a Upper Second Class Degree – a Bachelors of Arts in English.
Here is a photo of me in my cap and gown;
I got tons more photos but I didn’t want to bore you with them all! If you did want to see more then I have another of my dress and I will be posting more on my personal instagram account; Username; hannahsmithhhx.
I cannot believe I have officially graduated, and you know what makes me prouder? I didn’t have an anxiety attack, I didn’t have any physical symptoms. I didn’t even feel overly nervous. I felt happy, excited and proud.
So this is just a little update to say I GRADUATED!
I will be back to posting regular reviews and bookish post very soon!
Thank you all for staying with me on this journey.
So it’s been a while since I did my last Discussion post or post on Anxiety and I really needed to get some things off my chest. To do a rant and just get the feelings that have been plaguing me out there and to do an update for you all.

Today’s post is Wizarding Wares and Places I wish were real. Harry Potter is full of things I wish were real, I mean I wish the whole world was and Hogwarts was a school I went too. But because these sorts of posts are particularly popular I decided to make this a little smaller and only include things that weren’t too obvious so you won’t see wands, brooms and invisibility cloaks on this list.

Welcome Back to Top Ten
Tuesday. Well Wednesday because I really wanted to do this but I also wanted to get my review up for Love & You by Gretchen Gomez. So this is a day late but Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme set up by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is a Father’s Day freebie so I decided to do my TOP 10 Book Dad’s!
Firstly can I just start this off my saying, this was surprisingly really hard. I read a lot of YA and parent’s aren’t usually around in the books I read or if they are they are the reason in which the protagonist wishes to escape. Therefore this post will have a few from the same series rather than 10 different books!
