Harry Potter Studio Tour

Hello Witches, Wizards, Muggles and No-Majs! 

On Tuesday I visited the greatest place on earth… The Harry Potter Studio Tour in Watford and it was phenomenal. It was the second time I have visited the studio tour, the first time was about six years ago and it did not have the Hogwarts Express, Forbidden Forest nor were you able to enter Privet Drive. So although it was my second time, it was more like my first once again.

Firstly getting to the tour was an experience. It took us about four hours to drive down and we had booked on for the 12:30 tour. They say the tour itself lasts three hours but you can stay for as long as it is open, due to having to drive back we left at 5:30 although I could have definitely stayed forever. Because I don’t want to ruin the tour for everybody I will only be including some of the pictures I took that day. However I have recently made a new Harry Potter dedicated Instagram where I will post more.

April Wrap Up & Favourites

Hey Guys!

We are officially in May. It is May 4th tomorrow and let’s all gear up ready for the May the 4th be with you jokes… I’m so over them.
Each time I do a wrap up post, I always comment on how I can’t believe we are a month down and I just have to this time again because I can’t get over how time is going so fast. We are already on the 5th month in the year.

April was a weird month for me. I thought I was getting nothing done in terms of my blog because of deadlines and work but as I looked back to write this post I realized I actually did more than I thought so I guess it wasn’t so bad… I was rather MIA from my blog in April because like I said I had a bunch of deadlines and my next one is coming up soon as well actually. I also had to give a research paper at a conference through my university which was super stressful and scary but I did it! Yaaay. 

Other than that, there’s nothing really new in my life to note to you guys… other than I got glasses! I have been struggling with migraines and headaches ALOT lately so I went to the opticians last week and need to wear glasses for when i’m on the computer, in lectures, reading at a distance sort of thing. It is super weird having them, I’m not used to them yet but they are helping and my headaches and migraines have reduced dramatically since.

                    Lets take a look at my month and then my favourites shall we?…

Update; Where I’ve Been.

Hi Guys!

Gosh it has been 22 days since I last posted or interacted here on my blog… it feels like a lifetime. So where have I been?

Considering I’ve been gone from blogging for just over 3 weeks I figured I needed to do a post to explain my absence. I have posted some things on twitter for those who follow me on their but a lot of you don’t and you deserve an explanation as to why I dropped off the edge of the world for a little while.

Over the past 3 weeks a lot has happened in my life, university has begun to get stressful and many deadlines are looming over me. As you will know I am studying for a Master’s Degree and will be finished in September, so you can imagine the amount of essays looming as well as the Dissertation. So I took a few days to try to get myself organised, but then my nan got ill and rushed into hospital, there was a death close to our family, work commitments, being snowed in and missing uni and having to catch up… I was tearing my hair out. I was and still am so stressed but today I feel motivated to come onto my blog and return. I have missed it so so much.
I miss reading posts, posting and just interacting with everyone.

As I write this I have no ideas of what post to write next because I haven’t read anything for fun in 3 weeks… just articles for university. I am going to brain storm and get my creativity bug back and start reading a book.

I want to take a moment to thank every single person who has reached out to me, DM’d me, tweeted me, commented. Everything.
Over the past three weeks you have helped me so much and whilst I was struggling, it felt so good to know people were rooting for me to come back.

I can’t wait to make a proper comeback. If there is any posts you would like to see the most please comment and let me know. and please accept my apologies for leaving you. I feel so guilty, as if I have abadonded you. I’m sorry for that!

I am so excited to be typing this as it is a cover reveal for a very anticipated book for me. Harper Collins has revealed that on September 4th the Third Book for the Three Dark Queens series will be on sale. They also revealed on their facebook page the new cover and guys wait until you see it. It is phenomenal if I say so myself.

How Bookstagram Helped Me Fall Back In Love With Reading | Discussion

Hi Book lovers!

Today I wanted to come at you with a discussion type post on How Bookstagram Helped Me Fall Back In Love With Reading. 
Skeptical and thinking how could Instagram help someone like reading more?! Well your like I was then and I didn’t expect it to work. 
Me and reading have a tense relationship, I love it but it doesn’t always love me and I have SO many reading slumps and finding a way to come out of them is difficult. Sometimes it’s just a case of literally forcing my butt down on a chair and reading.

When I first started my blogging journey, I started an Instagram page as well and would post every so often just basic pictures of my books but I never took it too seriously. Then following Christmas for which I got money towards a new camera I decided to delete my old Instagram and start a new one and try to ‘bookstagram properly.’ Since then I have noticed a change in my reading habits and feelings towards reading for the positive.
