August is here.
Can you believe it? this year is going ridiculously fast. This month has been a little slow and crazy to say the least… Lets see what i’ve been up to in July shall we?
July has been a slow month for me in terms of blogging for reasons I will explain in my ‘on life’ section. I sadly was only able to post twice and I wasn’t able to catch up on comments and other blogs as much as I would have liked. Which in honesty, has made me feel like I am a blogging failure. I feel guilty all the time for not showing as much love to other blogs as they do me but I’m really trying to organize my time to just do a little blogging whenever I can.

I love watching Movies and TV shows and I never have posted about them but Kat @lifeandotherdistasters has been inspiring me to post more about what I like to watch. I always think nobody cares what I have to say about movies and such but it’s something I enjoy so I really want to try incorporate more of that into my future blogging.
To say life has been hectic is to say the least. There are…
until my Masters Degree Dissertation Deadline and I am panicking. I have been struggling to write it this past month but over the last few days the writing bug has hit me and I am starting to make headway. It is honestly one of the most challenging experiences I have had and it is really testing me, I love my topic I chose but a Masters Degree is so much more individual rather than teacher led and that has taken some getting used to.
Outside of this I am still at my old job and trying to navigate working there and finishing my dissertation, it’s hard especially as I am not happy there BUT I am still trying to apply for new jobs. It all is just a long process, my ultimate dream is to one day work in publishing.
On the good news side… my sister in law is pregnant! I will have another new niece or nephew come December. I am so excited to see my brothers little family grow even more.
As you know I am a huge Harry Potter fan so at the end of June I decided to create an Instagram related to Harry Potter… My username is @swishandflick94 and here is how my feed is looking lately.
Creating this Instagram has given me so much joy. Harry Potter is a series which has helped transform me as a person and it gives me so much comfort. Being able to interact with others who love the series as much as me has been amazing, I can’t wait for my page to grow.

Laura @laura-noakes had Author Allie Burns conduct a guest post on her blog to discuss her book The Land Girl.
@thebibliotheque did a post over on her blog about 9 Books that will be hitting the big screen.

Come the end of september I will be finished with my diss and not replying 22 days late!!!! So sorry, thank you for your motivation and positivity always! I honestly do not know what I would do without you, kat and michelle keep pushing me through. Hope everything is going good for you sis x

Hannah!! Don’t feel guilty about not being able to blog as much. It’s really just a matter of what life allows you to do and you are busy with important stuff. Don’t sweat it!! Congrats on the news that you are going to be an aunt again 😀 I am keeping my fingers and toes and everything crossed for your dissertation and that you will get that dream job of yours one day. I know for a fact that it’s possible, but that it sometimes takes an annoyingly long time haha
