Get To Know Me Tag

As my follower and view count goes up and the time I have had this blog get’s longer I realised I should do a Get To Know Me Tag, for all my new followers who may wish to know more about the little old creator of Mortal Reader. This specific tag I didn’t take from anywhere in particular but instead picked some questions from other popular tags and pooled them together.

So let’s get nosey…

Name: Hannah

Age: dun dun dunnnn… I’m 23.
         Ok so i’m super old I know, I feel as if i’m actually 18. I forget how old I am all the time.

Zodiac: Virgo, my birthday is September 16th.

Profession: I work part-time in Retail whilst I am studying for my Masters Degree in English Literature. My Bachelors Degree is also in English Literature.

What Do I Want To Do After?  That’s the ultimate dreaded question every student hates. I would love to go into publishing but the majority of opportunities are in London and I am such a home small town bird. So the reality? I’m not sure.

Reason Behind Creating a Blog? I have loved watching YouTube and reading blogs for years, my anxiety never would have let me create a YouTube but I knew I wanted to share my love for reading so created my blog. I love to inspire people to read and try new things to read. 

Reason Behind The Blog Name? One of my favourite book series is The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare. It was such a large part of my life when I created this blog so I had to incorporate it somehow!

Weird Habit? I have a sort of obsessive personality and I go through trends of books, videos, TV shows and things like that which I like. Say for example for a few weeks I can be obsessed with watching FRIENDS then the next minute I’m obsessed and can’t get enough with Youtube Videos or I binge old episodes of Home and Away.
I’m not obsessive with people though just shows… I promise.

Favourite Food(s): Junk Food… burger and chips. CHINESE FOOD is my weakness. 

Food I Hate: I’m so fussy so this could be such a long list but… PIZZA. I’ve tried it and I’m not a fan at all. I’m sorry..

Favourite Movie(s): I love so many but HARRY POTTER, Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman, Bridget Jones Diary, The Hunger Games, Divergent. I’m also a sucker for Transformers (1+2), Iron Man, Bad Boys, Fast and Furious… I’m such a film nerd so this list could be endless.

Favourite TV Show(s): Again SO many… One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, FRIENDS, Gilmore Girls, Sex and The City, The Big Bang Theory, Greys Anatomy…

Favourite Youtubers: I watch a ton of Youtube…too much my family says. I kind of go through trends of when I watch people but I always go back to of course booktuber Emmmabooks then Zoella, Alfie Deyes, Just Kidding Films/News/Party to name but a few.

Favourite Book(s): Why do I put these questions in for myself when I have so many faves… A Court of Thorns and Roses Series by Sarah J.MAAS, Harry Potter by J.K Rowling, The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare.

Guilty Pleasure: Reality TV Shows.. I binge Jeremy Kyle which you all probably won’t be familiar with but it is a talk show on here in the U.K . Then of course theirs Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Bondi Beach Rescue etc…

Read Out Loud or In Head: In my head but I do read out loud every now and again for a page or too…

Where Do You Read: Usually in my bedroom, I struggle to read with tons of people around and there is 7 of us who live in my house including a 4-year-old so sometimes quiet doesn’t exist… 

Hardback or Paperback: Paperback. I love hardback and I get an odd one or two but I find paperbacks so much easier to hold and their much more comfortable to read with.
