Fairyloot ‘Twisted Tales’ – February Unboxing

Hello Booklovers!

Today I am coming back at you with a Fairyloot Unboxing. I’ve been buying the Fairyloot Subscription box for over a year now and I want to start sharing the unboxing’s with you because I love it so much. This month’s theme was Twisted Tales.IMG_0533.JPG

The February ‘Twisted Tales’ box was described as being perfect for fans of dark fairy-tales and The Grimm fairy-tales. We could expect items themed on Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Hansel and Gretel and Rapunzel.

Without further ado let’s get to the goodies that were in this months box.

When I first learnt of this month’s theme I wasn’t as excited as I usually am because i’m not a huge fan of books linked to fairy-tales but I have ended up so in love with this box.

Lets start off with the book.

This months book is The Hazel wood by Melissa Albert. The edition is exclusive to Fairyloot and it is signed inside the actual book by Melissa Albert herself. How gorgeous is this cover? I am dying to read this.

The Goodies

Exclusive ‘Grimm Tales’ Mug designed by Aunjuli Art

How beautiful is this mug?!
The Artwork depicts multiple Grimm Fairy-tales scenes including Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretel. It is also such a high quality mug and the images are gorgeous.

Exclusive ‘Hinterland’ Candle by Wick and Fable

It’s not Fairyloot without a candle. This candle is inspired by The Hazel Wood and Melissa Albert herself helped come up with the scent. She wished to use a woody scent to represent ‘The Hinterland, which is a supernatural world in the story and the tea leaves represent the main character Alice.’

Exclusive ‘Poisonous Apple’ Bath Salts by Little Heart and
Exclusive ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ Woodmark by Ink and Wonder

This is the first bath item I have received in a fairyloot box before so this was exciting. The Poisonous Apple Bath Salts are to represent Snow White.

I was also jumping up and down at the Ink and Wonder Woodmark. I have been wanting one for so long, this design reads ‘Wolves may lurk in every guise.‘ It is so unique and of high quality.

Exclusive ‘The Witch & The Gingerbread House’ Socks by Fairyloot

My first bookish socks from a subscription box!!!

These are beautiful and high quality socks designed by Fairyloot themselves and inspired by Hansel and Gretel. The design on the socks themselves is little Gingerbread houses and Witches Hats. I really love these and I love how the colours are purple and black to go with the Fairyloot colour scheme.

And finally of course this box also included the spoiler card with the depiction of Little Red Riding Hood on the front and the Fairyloot bookmark with the same image.

I am so in love with this box. I wasn’t sure what to expect at first but I am blown away again. I can’t wait to read the book to find out what it’s truly about.
I am also especially so excited for next month because it is going to be extra special because it is an anniversary box.

If you are contemplating trying Fairyloot then I highly recommend them, their products are all of high quality, their prices are amazing and fair and they deliver so fast and the products are always highly protected in the box. Not to mention Annisa and Michael who run fairyloot are the nicest people ever.

  1. Lovely unboxing – I can’t WAIT to hear your thoughts on The Hazel Wood, I read and really enjoyed it, but there are tons of mixed reviews out there. I hope you will enjoy it like I did, sis ❤ ❤

  2. I loooove seeing unboxings. They make me yearn for when I still had some budget to spend on them, but with shipping being almost the same as the box itself, I just can’t afford them anymore. Still, I am so glad it was such an amazing box! ❤

    1. I get what you mean, before fairyloot I was like I WANT ONE! I’m lucky they are based in the UK now, I hope one opens up close to you so you can experience them without extortionate shipping prices xx
