Goodreads Book Tag

Aloha Book Lovers!

Today I am coming at you with the Goodreads Book Tag. It feels like forever since I’ve done a tag and the wonderful Kat @lifeandotherdisasters tagged me to do this. This is one I have never heard of before so I was so excited to give it a go.

What was the last book you marked as ‘read’?

follow me.jpg

The last book I marked as read on Goodreads was Follow Me by Sara Shepard. This is book 2 following The Amateurs and it focuses on a group of teens helping to solve murders. Its one I’ve been hooked on and I will have my review up soon.

My Spoiler Free Review of The Amataurs (Book 1) Can Be Found Here.

Sky In The Deep by Andrienne Young.jpg

I’m currently reading Sky In The Deep by Adrienne Young. I was lucky enough to receive an E-Arc from St.Martins Press for this.

What was the last book you marked as TBR?
Glitter.jpg

I actually reduced by TBR on Goodreads in January and I don’t mark as many books on my TBR because it gets ridiculously high but I saw this one and knew I had to give it a read at some point. This book is Glitter by Aprilynne Pike.
The synopsis for this book sounds so good and interesting. I need a copy in my life.

What book do you plan to read next?

FROST BLOOD.jpg

Frostblood by Elly Blake. I have had this one on my TBR for so long and it’s been staring at me from my bookshelf so I am determined to finally pick it up.

Do you use the star rating system?

Yes I do! Like Kat also mentioned in her answer though, I wish there was a half star rating because I do use half stars and just clarify underneath in the review. Sometimes books aren’t quite a 5 but not also a 4 but they fit perfectly into 4.5!

Are you doing a 2018 Reading Challenge?

I am! This year I decided to go with 50 books and I’m actually really proud of myself for how i’m doing so far…

Do you have a wishlist?

I don’t have a wishlist on Goodreads other than the TBR because like I mentioned with the TBR List it just got insane. I do have an Amazon Wish List which I use to keep track of books I would like to buy at some point and again I try not to make it in its hundreds. Here it is, if you would like to have a gander and see the kind of books on my anticipated TBR list; Amazon Wish List.

What book do you plan to buy next?

Who knows!

Do you have any favorite quotes? Share a few.

Goodreads challenge

This quote is one which has stuck with me since reading A Court of Mist and Fury. I love it so much and I am a major Feyre and Rhysand fan.

John Green

This one is from The Fault in Our Stars. Again one which has stuck with me and I LOVE so so much. It packs so much emotion in it.

Who are your favorite authors?

  1. J.K Rowling
  2. Sarah J.Maas
  3. Cassandra Clare
  4. Victoria Aveyard
  5. Angie Thomas

Have you joined any groups?

I once was a member of a few from YA to Adult fiction, I was most active on the New Adult Reading Group however I have since not been on it in so long because my own TBR was so high. I decided to focus on that.

Who Am I Tagging?

Marie  @drizzleandhurricanebooks
Michelle @BookAdventures
Kelly @AnotherBookintheWall

As well as anybody else interested in doing this tag. I found this one fun to do!
