July Wrap Up!

Happy August!

Everybody says this but I can’t believe we are already on August 1st, in just over a month I will be back at University. That’s kind of scary considering I still haven’t started reading the books of my reading lists… I suck at being organised. Anyone else with me on that?

July was a funny month for me, work has been taking over my life and my anxiety as well. As you may know from my last update post I also drew up the courage to visit my doctor last week, after years of anxiety attacks and just general anxiety day to day to get some help to battle it. I would say my appointment went successfully so just fingers crossed things begin to get better, it can take time and it will of course be a life long battle with it but i’m hopeful it will reduce considerably.

I also want to take this moment to say Thank You to you all, for sticking with my blog when I take little hiatus’ and also offering words of support. It truly makes my bad days easier and i’m going to try to be more active now.

Without further ado here is my July Wrap Up:

Books Read:

Please note my reviews are all SPOILER FREE.

Whilst I only read 5 books this month, I am also really proud of myself because each of these books were on my TBR pile therefore I am slowly ticking off the giant list! I enjoyed reading each of these especially Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare and A Court of Thorns and Roses and Mist and Fury by Sarah J.MAAS, they each put me in a serious book hangover!

Other Posts this month:

Siblinghood of the World BOOK TAG | D.R Graham Book Birthday

Currently Reading?

HARRY POTTER.jpg Harry Potter and The Cursed Child by J.K Rowling, John Tiffany and Jack Thorne.

I’m about 190 pages into this so far and I am loving it, I can’t wait to put my review up. I’m going to a wedding tonight so I will have to finish it tomorrow unless I could read it under the table…

Let me know in the comments how many books you read this month?

Did you purchased Cursed Child?

  1. Yay to reading books from your TBR! I usually have like 3 books and then sometimes even then deviate from it just because something caught my eye more. Glad to hear that you’ve been enjoying SJM’s books. 🙂

Also – if I were you I’d totally read The Cursed Child under the table. 😈 My BF has purchased a copy so I’m just waiting for him to be done so I can snatch it away and read his copy, haha.

  2. Great reading month!! So many of those books are huuuge too, so props!!

I’d totally read TCC under the table 😂 When Order of the Phoenix was released it was the same day as a family birthday and I spent the majority of the time sitting in the car reading.

    1. Thank you! haha that’s funny, I never read the books when they were first released and I don’t know why because I got them on the release day each time… I bet it was great having that experience of I need to read this now, I don’t care where we are!
