Stacking the Shelves… Book Haul!

Hope you are all having a fabulous week and it has been filled full of reading delights! Today’s post is going to be a BOOK HAUL, I think this is my second book haul on here?!  I love seeing what other people have purchased lately so I hope you enjoy this too. Seeing as I had finished Second Year of University I had ordered a bunch of books to celebrate and they are all finally here so without further ado….

The books I got are:

  • An Ember in the Ashes – Sabaa Tahir
  • The Sin Eaters Daughter – Melinda Salisbury
  • The Winners Curse – Marie Rutkoski
  • Shadow and Bone – Leigh Bardugo
  • Daughter of Smoke and Bone – Laini Taylor
  • Glittering Court – Richelle Mead

 

I got these books from a variety of places such as Amazon or Book Depository, I purchased Glittering Court from Book Depository which is my usual go to for hardcover books because they normally have both the UK and USA cover’s on sale so I can see which I would prefer. I don’t really purchase that many Hardback books because I don’t have much space to store them and also I find them too big for my hands, paperbacks are so much easier for me to hold. It’s more comfortable for me,  does anybody else have this problem?

For the first time I decided to try out Amazon’s Used section on their website and I ordered Daughter of Smoke and Bone – (Hardcover) by Laini Taylor and guys… it arrived in perfect brand new condition, it’s signed and it’s also a first edition. It cost me 1p then £2.00 for delivery, so let’s just let that sink in… I’m doing the book dance right now. It’s my only signed book so I am so happy.

I’m not sure what I shall pick up first to read, any suggestions? I do already have a bunch of books on my shelves that I really need to read soon as well such as Lady Midnight, ACOTAR and Throne of Glass… Eeeek, i’m SO behind!

    1. Thank you Lauren! Can’t wait to see what you think of Daughter of Smoke and Bone, you might push me to hurry up and pick it up. I’ve picked up The Raven Boys again which I am determined to finish!

      1. Yay!! I hope you have a more enjoyable experience with The Raven Boys! I’d suggest just trying to stick it out because the rest of the series just gets better and bette 😊 but if you can’t get into it that’s cool too!! There’s no point reading something you’re not enjoying!

  2. A few months ago I finished The Winner’s trilogy and it’s certainly become one of my all time favorite series. The romance is more of a slowburn and it’s a simpler fantasy, but all three books are wonderful nonetheless. Shadow and Bone is another fantastic trilogy. It’s super fast paced; in fact, the entire trilogy could easily be marathoned because the plot is quite addicting. Happy reading! 🙂
